Helio was instrumental in setting up the precursor to the WikiArc Project in 2005, and continues to advise the project as Emeritus Editor.

Research Interests
Roman Archaeology; Race, Sex and Gender in Greco-Roman Antiquity; Cultural Heritage Issues; Myth and Religion in Classical and Egyptian Antiquity; Education through the Media (Internet, television, museum).

Current Research
Notions of social Passivity and Activity in Greco-Roman Antiquity and its reflections on current society.

Collaborating in the organization of a reference collection of Ceramics form the silk route site of Merv, in Turkmenistan.
